Eleven Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli air strikes on Gaza on Wednesday, hiking the overall death toll to 32 in two days, with more than 150 wounded, medics said. <br />The deadliest strike took place shortly after midnight when a missile slammed into a house in the northern town of Beit Hanun, killing Hafez Hammad, a senior Islamic Jihad commander, and five of his family members, including two women and two children.
