After a fifteen-day trial, a Paris court has convicted nine people of belonging to an Afghanistan-trained militant network that reportedly planned attacks in France.<br /><br />Sentences of two to eight years were handed down to the defendants, three of whom were tried in absentia. <br /><br />All denied being fighters or planning an attack.
