German soccer fans celebrate as their team beats Argentina 1-0 to win the world cup<br/> <br />These were the scenes in Frankfurt in the early hours of monday morning, as an impromptu car rally made its way through the city.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (German) GERMANY FAN, JENS WEHMEYER SAYING:<br/> <br />"It was great. They had a great World Cup. Can't complain. We are just happy, or not?"<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (German) GERMANY FAN, CHRISTIAN BALLAUFF SAYING:<br/> <br />"Super. It was outstanding! Awesome! Super match. Goetze was great, wasn't he? Well, now for next time, in 2018, world champion again."<br/> <br />Even a lone Argentine fan had no choice but to join in the celebrations.<br/> <br />Here in Berlin thousands of fans packed into the Kurfürstendamm shopping street.<br/> <br />This may be the fourth time the German team has brought the cup home, but it's their first in 24 years. And it's their first as a united Germany.
