At least nine people have been killed and more than 40 injured in a bus crash near Dresden in Germany.<br /><br />Local police said that the incident, which happened on the A4 highway early on Saturday morning, involved a Polish coach and minibus and a Ukrainian coach.<br /><br />A preliminary police report indicated that the Polish coach hit the rear of the Ukrainian coach then broke through the central reservation, crashing into the oncoming minibus.<br /><br />Initial information obtained by local media suggested that several of the people killed were Polish citizens traveling in the mini bus.
