"Two Chefs" brings you Korean recipes that have won over the world!<br />In episode 9, we introduce the popular Korean snack, topokki (rice cakes in sweet and spicy sauce).<br />We learn recipes for the traditionally popular palace snack, savory goongjoong-topokki made with soy sauce, and spicy-topokki made with hot gochujang ?a popular street snack.<br />Before they reveal how to make the perfect topokki sauce, the chefs take on a fun mission. You can also learn facts about Korean cuisine.<br />Catch goongjoong-topokki and spicy-topokki on episode 9 of "Two Chefs"!<br /> <br />Recipe<br />1) Goongjoong-topokki<br />1. Cut the 4cm long rice cakes into 4 sections. Quickly boil in water and drain. Mix with sesame oil.<br />2. Cut beef 1cm x 5xm x 0.3cm and marinate in seasoning.<br />3. Cut the green pumpkin, carrots, shitake mushroom and onion into appropriate sizes.<br />4. Prepare white and yellow egg garnish.<br />5. Make sauce for goongjoong topokki.<br />6. Add salt to boiling water and quickly boil the green pumpkin, carrot, shiitake mushrooms and onion, separately.<br />7. After stir-frying the meat, boil the sauce and put in all of the ingredients.<br />8. Turn off heat and serve with pine nut garnish.<br /><br />1) Spicy-topokki <br />1. Wash the rice cakes in cold water and drain.<br />2. Cut fish paste into 2cm x 4cm pieces and hard-boil eggs.<br />3. Boil the spicy sauce and add rice cakes, fish paste and leeks. Turn off when sauce has simmered down.
