In Nigeria, health officials have confirmed that a Liberian man who died in Lagos was infected with the deadly Ebola virus.<br /><br />The incident is the first case of the disease in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country. <br /><br />Reportedly in his 40s, the man, a consultant for Liberia’s finance ministry, collapsed on his arrival at the city’s airport on Sunday and later died in quarantine. <br /><br />Since February, some 660 people have been killed by Ebola, which has spread across a large swathe of West Africa. The outbreak is the world’s deadliest to date.<br /><br />Elsewhere in Sierra Leone, a hunt has been launched for a women with Ebola. It’s being reported that she was forcibly removed from a hospital by her family in the country’s capital Freetown.
