<p>In Burma, general elections are scheduled to take place by 2015, a long-awaited ballot in a country undergoing a bumpy democratic transition. Indeed, the roadmap to a democratic Burma seems to be stuck in a rut with Aung San Suu Kyi barred from running as a candidate.
