Crews work to find villagers swallowed up in landslide in India

They're searching for survivors, but so far they've found more dead than alive.<br /> <br />Rescue teams have been working around the clock since arriving at the village of Ambegaon.<br /> <br />They're hoping to find up to 200 people believed buried in the sea of mud and debris delivered by a landslide that struck on Wednesday.<br /> <br />Teams are using earth movers to negotiate the mud that swallowed more than 150 people and dozens of homes.<br /> <br />S.S. Guleria of India's National Disaster Force.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: S.S. Guleria, Deputy Inspector General Of National Disaster Force saying:<br /> <br />"They have recovered; so far, eight alive persons have been rescued and 25 bodies have been recovered - so that is the situation."<br /> <br />Amid the sludge are indications the village before the landslide came crashing down..<br /> <br />Hundreds of rescuers have been working through a steady drizzle, determined to make as much progress as possible ahead of an expected heavy rain that many in this area fear will trigger
