Tahirul Qadri says PML-N govt will not remain in power beyond August <br />By Mariam EssaPublished: August 3, 2014 <br /> Share this articlePrint this page Email <br /> <br />Express News screebgrab of Tahirul Qadri. <br />Express News screebgrab of Tahirul Qadri.Express News screengrab of Qadri addressing a press conference in Lahore. <br />LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said on Sunday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will not remain in power beyond August, inviting applause from the audience. <br />“A revolution is coming,” Qadri stated. <br />The PAT leader was addressing a press conference in Lahore, where he lashed out at PML-N government for how they handled the Model Town clashes, stating that the matter would have been dealt with differently if it had happened in the United States, Britain or Europe. <br />On June 17, at least 14 PAT workers were killed and dozens of others injured in violent clashes between party activists and policemen in Lahore. The confrontation had started when a 15-member police team tried to remove barriers in front of PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s house and the Minhaj International Secretariat.
