Korea’s Sound “Samulnori Jangdan”<br /> <br />Whatever you are assigned to do, <br />it's important not to forget about the fundamental basics. <br />And, music is not an exception. <br />In traditional Korean music, the basics refer to as "jangdan."<br /><br />This week, we are going to look at very popular form of jangdan.<br />It's called "Samulnori Jangdan!"<br />The word “samul” means "four objects" and nori means "play."<br /><br />When samulnori was first introduced to the world, <br />the audience at a concert gave Korean musicians a suspicious look. <br />But once the performance started and reached its climax, all of the audience was moved, and the whole venue was filled with enjoyment of the audience and musicians.<br /><br />On this week’s "The Sensation,"<br />we are going to look at this interesting samulnori jangdan.<br />We hope you are ready to enjoy the bursts of energy, created by traditional Korean instruments!
