Nothing in life is guaranteed, <br />Of this lesson I should take heed, <br />For what life gives it can surely take, <br />What a difference a year can make. <br /> <br />A year ago I was standing tall, <br />It seemed as though I had it all, <br />Somehow though my luck had turned, <br />I consider it a lesson learned. <br /> <br />Failure is hard, but so is success, <br />Too many drown in their own excess, <br />But no matter what, my spirit won't break, <br />What a difference a year can make. <br /> <br />10-02-10.<br /><br />Alan W.
