Hamas representatives were said to have addressed the crowd praising the nation's patience and strength during the conflict. <br /> <br />Palestinian representatives reached an agreement with Israel on August 4 for a 72 hour cease-fire, which went into effect at 08:00 (05.00 GMT) on August 5. Since the beginning of 'Operation Protective Edge' at least 1,849 Palestinians have been killed, 1,354 of them civilians, as reported by UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Among the 1,849, around 400 of the victims were children.
