During an army briefing at the National Security Conference, participants were briefed about the progress of Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan and were assured that all objectives had been achieved including the clearing out of Boya, Deegan, Miranshah and Mirali. <br /> <br /> <br />During the National Security Conference lead by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Director General (DG) Military Operations Major-General Amir Riaz gave a detailed presentation on the present progress and future plans pertaining to the Zarb-e-Azb operation. According to the DG, more than 500 terrorists have been killed so far and landmines are continuously being destroyed in the search operation.
