+++CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES+++<br/> <br />The latest truce between Israel and Hamas didn't come soon enough to save 11-year-old Khalil.<br/> <br />The Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank, during clashes with rock-throwing protesters.<br/> <br />His death happened just hours before Israeli and Hamas officials announced each side had agreed to a new three-day truce.<br/> <br />The hospital where Khalil was taken said the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head.<br/> <br />His uncle, Youssef al Anati, says his nephew was not taking part in the protest.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) UNCLE OF BOY, YOUSSEF AL-ANATI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"He is an innocent boy. He is not carrying bombs or rockets, there were no clashes.
