The Marin County Coroner's office says preliminary findings show Robin Williams hanged himself sometime between 10:30 Sunday night and 11:45 Monday morning.<br/> <br />Deputy Coroner Keith Boyd told reporters Williams was discovered by his personal assistant.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: MARIN COUNTY DEPUTY CORONER KEITH BOYD, SAYING:<br/> <br />"At that time, the personal assistant was able to gain access to Mr. Williams' bedroom and entered the bedroom to find Mr. Williams clothed, in a seated position, unresponsive, with a belt secured around his neck, with the other end of the belt wedged between the clothes closet door and the door frame."<br/> <br />All day, neighbors have been leaving flowers and notes in front of the Williams' Northern California home.
