Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has cancelled all election campaign activities for three days after the death of opposition candidate Eduardo Campos on Wednesday.<br /><br /> Campos’s private jet crashed in bad weather as it was preparing to land in the coastal city of Santos, killing all seven people on-board. <br /><br /> Local television images showed smoke billowing from the crash site, a residential area of Santos.<br /><br /> A party source said Campos’s running mate, Marina Silva, was not on-board the plane.<br /><br /> Campos, 49, was in third place in recent polls with the support of about ten percent of voters. <br /><br /> Brazil’s presidential election is set to take place on October 5.
