As news of the death of actress Lauren Bacall spread fans erected a memorial outside her Manhattan home.<br/> <br />The small tribute at the side entrance to The Dakota apartment building included a bouquet of flowers and six roses.<br/> <br />Bacall, the sultry actress with the husky voice who captured Humphrey Bogart's heart both on and off the screen, died on August 12 at the age of 89.<br/> <br />Near her home, people remembered the acting legend.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jeff, tourist, saying (English):<br/> <br />"I loved her voice.
