A further 600 migrants have attempted to jump a border fence protecting a Spanish enclave in north Africa.<br /><br />They follow another 600 who attempted to cross the border the previous day.<br /><br />Although none of them managed to enter Melilla from Morocco, reports say dozens perched on top of the fence for most of the day.<br /><br />In recent days, more than a thousand migrants have made it into mainland Spain by boat.<br /><br />Coastguards rescued more than 120 boats, blaming good weather conditions for the large numbers of migrants attempting the journey.
