35-year-old Simone Camilli was an Italian Associated Press journalist who died while covering the conflict in Gaza on August 13.<br/> <br />Now his body has come home to Italy.<br/> <br />Hundreds gather atop the Tuscan town of Pitigliano to remember the man so many call a friend.<br/> <br />His mother carries an olive branch -- a symbol of peace she says she found on her son's coffin as it left Israel.<br/> <br />The journalist's long-time partner recalls the first time they met.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) YLVA VAN DEN BERG, CAMILLI'S LONG-TIME PARTNER, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Simone my love, I remember so well the first time our eyes met, as we walked towards each other, from opposite directions, in a street in Jerusalem.
