More than 4,000 faithful nuns and monks welcome Pope Francis, Saturday.<br/> <br />In a town 75 miles south of Seoul, the Pope urges them to stay on the right path, and dedicate their lives to the needy.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) POPE FRANCIS, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Think, too, of how dangerous a temptation it is to adapt a purely functional, worldly mentality which leads to placing our hope in human means alone and destroys the witness of poverty which our Lord Jesus Christ lived and taught us."<br/> <br />Earlier in the day, the Pope led a ceremony to beatify 124 Korean martyrs, laid to rest in this graveyard.<br/> <br />They were killed for refusing to renounce Christianity in the 18th and 19th centuries.<br/> <br />But on this five-day trip, Pope Francis is fostering faith -- in a country that has seen the number of Catholics double in the past 25 years.
