Jang Gi-ha and the Faces <br />Jang Gi-ha and the Faces was formed in May 2008. They debuted that October with the release of the single "Cheap Coffee" at a festival for discovering new artists, and sold over 10,000 copies of the CD they manually copied and produced, rising up as a new band in folk rock. <br />In February 2009, they released their first official album "It's Going Pretty Good" obtaining an explosive attention and was called "Korea's pop music's ancient future." <br />In June their second album "Jang Gi-ha and the Faces" was released, and unlike the first album, where Jang Gi-ha wrote and arranged all songs, the second album was co-created and recorded as a band including their new keyboard and guitar players, creating quality sounds together with the lyrics that touch upon everyday life. <br />(Vocal: Jang Gi-ha, Guitar: Lee Min-gi, Bass: Jeong Jung-yeob, Drums: Kim Hyeon-ho, Keyboard: Lee Jong-min) <br /> <br />장기하와 얼굴들 <br />2008년 5월 결성, 10월 싱글 싸구려 커피를 발표하며 신인 발굴 페스티벌에서 데뷔한 장기하와 얼굴들은 공 CD를 손수 구워 만든 수공업 음반임에도 불구하고 만 장이 넘는 판매고를 기록하며 한국 음악계의 떠오르는 샛별로 자리매김한 포크록 밴드다. <br />2009년 2월에 발표한 첫 번째 정규 앨범 별 일 없이 산다로 대중들의 폭발적인 지지를 얻으며 '한국 대중음악의 오래된 미래'라는 수식어를 거머쥔 이들은 지난 6월 두 번째 정규 앨범 장기하와 얼굴들을 발표했다. <br />리더인 장기하가 작사, 작곡은 물론 편곡까지 도맡아 했던 1집과 달리 건반과 기타를 보강한 새로운 멤버 구성으로 모든 곡을 합주를 거쳐 만들고 녹음한 이번 앨범을 통해 한층 더 높아진 완성도를 자랑하고 있는 장기하와 얼굴들은 일상적이고 담담한 가사로 가슴 깊은 곳을 어루만져주는 밴드다. <br />(보컬, 기타, 퍼커션-장기하, 기타-이민기, 베이스-정중엽, 드럼-김현호, 건반-이종민)
