They say all dogs go to heaven.<br/> <br />Pups and their owners come from far and wide to receive their blessings from father Obbermaier at this El Alto church in Bolivia.<br/> <br />They're honoring the day of Saint Roch, the patron Saint of Dogs.<br/> <br />Antonia says her furry friend gets sick a lot -- and hopes father Obbermaier can help her dog get better.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) EL ALTO RESIDENT, ANTONIA LEUCA, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I wanted to have her blessed so that she won't get sick because she gets sick all the time. She is like my daughter. She is the sister of my daughters."<br/> <br />But the holy water isn't all too elegant -- the priest uses a mop and bucket to bless each dog.<br/> <br />And the line for a blessing is expansive.<br/> <br />All shapes and sizes, they're all God's dogs, father Obbermaier says.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) FATHER SEBASTIAN OBBERMAIER, SAYING:<br/> <br />"God loves us, he loves the dogs, the small children, the adults."<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) FATHER SEBASTIAN OBBERMAIER
