This is another Tribute to the Russel family, who is responsible for the whiskey at the wild turkey distillery. <br /> <br />The nose: <br />Vanilla, Caramel, from the treated wood of the cask. This is combined with fruitiness of cherry and peaches. Later you get spiciness and nuttiness. <br />The taste: <br />Its very intense and sharp, like a typical rye whisky. It becomes smoother and mellower as it progresses. <br />The finish: <br />Waves of the sharp rye comes back in waves as it fades out.
