Why is it so hard for me to let her go? <br />Because deep down inside, I know we are through. <br />I've learned from my mistakes, and I'm willing to grow. <br />But I don't want to move on to find someone new. <br /> <br />Why can't I just get her out of my mind? <br />I know I must move on and start again. <br />But someone else like her will be hard to find. <br />I need to start fresh, but somebody tell me when. <br /> <br />When I close my eyes, why do I see her there? <br />Such an impact she made, who would have guessed. <br />If there's someone else for me, someone show me where. <br />If she's not the one for me, then why am I so obsessed? <br /> <br />Why do thoughts of her still haunt my head? <br />Deep down inside I know I must move on. <br />I still remember all the 'I love you's that were said. <br />But my love for her will never be really gone. <br /> <br />How will I know when I've found the right one? <br />I need someone else to fill the void in my heart. <br />After all this, how will I know when it is done? <br />When will I know it's time to make a new start?<br /><br />Jon M.
