Getting a Big Mac in Moscow is about to get a lot harder.<br/> <br />Russia's food safety watchdog has temporarily shut down four McDonald's in Moscow for what they say are sanitary violations.<br/> <br />The closures come amid worsening ties between U.S. and Russia over the ongoing situation in Ukraine.<br/> <br />The move prompting some to wonder if it's politically motivated.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: (Russian) MCDONALD'S CUSTOMER, IVAN, SAYING:<br/> <br />"They occasionally kick us with different sanctions. Why cannot we do something in return? Moreover, McDonald's is such a symbol of everything Western, I thing it is a good symbolic step that shows that we have some teeth."<br/> <br />One of the McDonald's affected by the closures is the first one to have opened in Russia.<br/> <br />The company says its the most frequented McDonald's in the world, and they're hoping to get back to business as soon as possible.
