Tear gas and water cannon are fired into crowds of Indonesian protesters.<br /> <br />Police in Jakarta were trying to disperse thousands of supporters of the losing presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.<br /> <br />It's a last ditch attempt to overturn the presidential election result, which Prabowo says was tainted by widespread cheating.<br /> <br />These protesters rammed their trucks into the barriers trying to break into the constitutional court's headquarters.<br /> <br />Inside the court nine judges read out their decision.<br /> <br />As expected they unanimously upheld the result of last month's presidential election, dismissing Prabowo's claims of massive fraud.<br /> <br />Probowo supporters aren't happy with the result but they say they'll respect the court's decision.<br /> <br />The ruling paves the way for Joko Widodo to take over as Indonesia's new president.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Bahasa Indonesia) PRESIDENT-ELECT, JOKO WIDODO, SAYING:<br /> <br />"The next step is to get things ready.
