The distillers edition is always a special whisky. Here the whisky has been finished in a special sherry cask. It is a Lowland whisky, but it was produced in a Highland Scotch style. <br /> <br /> <br />The nose: <br />Fruitness, sherry, floral notes, a little spiciness with nuts and oakiness. <br />The taste: <br />Smooth and mellow in the mouth, but as soon as you swallow you feel the spiciness dryness of the oak. <br />The finish: <br />It fades out with the tastes of the oak.
