Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has visited the area of Hiroshima which has been devastated by landslides, killing at least 54 people with many others still missing.<br /><br />He said everything would be done to find those still unaccounted for.<br /><br />Survivors who have lost their homes have been offered apartments free of charge elsewhere in the city.<br /><br />About 240 mm of rain fell in 24-hours up to Wednesday morning last week.
