Efforts are being stepped up to try and free four more American journalists being held in Syria following the release after two years of Peter Curtis.<br /><br />Qatari diplomacy helped in his release, with the official al-Qaeda affiliate in the country, the Nusra Front, freeing him just days <br />after rival Islamic State butchered James Foley.<br /><br />In Boston, Curtis’s home, his mother, while overjoyed, can only think of another mother, James Foley’s.<br /><br />“The first thing I did before I even told my daughter, I sat down and I sent an email to Diane Foley. We’ve been through so much together and I didn’t want her to hear it from the media first.”<br /><br />“Do you know what you’ll say to him?”<br /><br />Curtis: “I’ll give him a big hug and I’ll probably cry.”
