This Ganesh Chaturthi, treat the elephant-headed deity with His favourite sweet in a chocolaty flavour. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />200 gms bitter chocolate <br />4 tbsp almond powder <br />4 tbsp of milk powder <br />2 tbsp raisins <br />2-3 tbsp condensed milk <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- Melt the roughly chopped chocolate in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds. <br />- Once the chocolate melts, whisk it for a few seconds to get rid of the lumps. <br />- Let the chocolate cool down for about five minutes. <br /> <br />To make the filing: <br />- In a bowl, add the coarsely ground almond powder, milk powder, raisins and condensed milk (just enough to bind everything together) and then mix everything together until it turns into a soft dough. <br />- Make small balls from the dough and try to include at least 1 raisin in each ball. <br />- If you feel your filling is extremely dry and sweet enough, you can add little cream to it. <br /> <br />To make modak: <br />- Take a piping bag and fill it with the tempered chocolate. <br />- Take the modak-shaped mould, snip the piping bag and fill half the mould with chocolate. <br />- Tap the mould slightly and then push the almond balls inside the chocolate. <br />- Then fill the remaining mould with chocolate and tap it once again to even out everything. <br />- Put it in the freezer to set for about 5-7 minutes. <br />- Take the modak out of the refrigerator and tap the mould upside down to unmould the modaks. <br />- The delicious chocolate modaks are ready to be served to the elephant-headed deity, Lord Ganesha. <br /> <br />Director: Suchandra Basu <br />Camera: Kawaldeep Singh Jangwal, Manjeet Kataria <br />Editing: Sagar Bamnolikar <br />Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy <br />Producer: Rajjat A.
