The British couple who sparked an international manhunt by taking their seriously ill son out of hospital have been remanded in custody by a court in Madrid. <br /><br />The parents of five-year-old Ashya King, who said they were seeking alternative treatment for his brain tumour, are fighting efforts to extradite them from Spain to the UK.<br /><br />Brett and Naghemeh King have been remanded in custody for a maximum of 72 hours, pending a second hearing.
