U.S. troops are on the move in Iraq.<br/> <br />New video released by the U.S. military shows preparations underway for humanitarian air drops.<br/> <br />These emergency supplies were heading for the Iraqi Shi'ite town of Amerli, where Islamic State militants had trapped the civilian population.<br/> <br />President Barack Obama had authorized the drops along with airstrikes over the weekend.<br/> <br />The move came in coordination with efforts by Iraqi security forces and Shi'ite militias to take back the town.<br/> <br />The drops contained 52,000 pounds of ready to eat meals and water for the town's mostly ethnic Turkmen population.
