Myanmar’s beauty queen who was stripped of her title has refused to hand back her bejewelled tiara, worth around 76,000 euros.<br /><br />May Myat Noe said she would keep the crown until the contest organisers apologised to her. They claim she was rude and dishonest to them.<br /><br />The beauty queen denies the claims.<br /><br />She told reporters that she boarded a plane back to Myanmar, crown in hand, before her title had been taken away.<br /><br />She further said that various agreements stated in a contract, including accommodation for a three-month stay in South Korea where the contest was held, were not met. She found that no such arrangement had been made when she arrived.
