The outcome of this month’s Independence referendum in Scotland appears to be far from certain. <br /><br />The latest opinion polls are now putting just six percent points between the two campaigns.<br /><br />From the very start, the ‘No’ vote has been in the lead but pollsters claim the nationalists are riding a surge of support and could clinch it.<br /><br />By excluding those not intending to vote or the undecided, YouGov pollsters show support for keeping the union at 53 percent against 47 percent seeking independence.
