A ghostly flight for a small private plane carrying a New York executive, after it veered far off course.<br/> <br />The aircraft took off from Rochester, New York headed to Naples, Florida, with real estate developer Larry Glazer and his wife on board.<br/> <br />About an hour after take-off, the FAA says the pilot stopped responding to radio calls.<br/> <br />Two U.S. fighter jets trailed the plane, until it entered Cuban airspace.<br/> <br />After flying over Cuba, it then dropped off the radar.<br/> <br />Jamaican authorities confirmed that the plane crashed in waters just a few miles northeast of the island nation.<br/> <br />During a news conference in Kingston, Military Co-operation Officer, Major Basil Jarrett, said a search for survivors was still under way.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) MILITARY CO-OPERATION OFFICER, MAJOR BASIL JARRETT, SAYING"<br/> <br />"Our latest information is that an oil slick indicative of where the aircraft may have gone down, has been spotted in the area where we suspect the crash took
