The late comedienne Joan Rivers once jokingly wrote about wanting an elaborate funeral.<br/> <br />But for family and friends mourning her loss, the private Manhattan funeral was of a more intimate nature.<br/> <br />Rivers died on Thursday at the age of 81 after being put on life support following an outpatient procedure where she stopped breathing.<br/> <br />Celebrity guests attending Sunday's funeral included comedian Whoopi Goldberg, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, Howard Stern and Rosie O'Donnell.<br/> <br />Tycoon Donald Trump, whose "Celebrity Apprentice" reality TV show Rivers won in 2009, also paid his respects.<br/> <br />She was trailblazer for women in comedy throughout her energetic career that lasted more than 50 years.<br/> <br />Many believe that Rivers, known for her brash humor and raspy voice, wasn't even finished.<br/> <br />With the cause of her death still unknown, the State Health Department is investigating the endoscopy center where Rivers was treated before she passed away.<br/> <br />As tributes pou
