NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />Last minute shoppers were out in force in Hanoi on Monday (September 8), picking up holiday decorations for the Mid-Autumn Festival.<br/> <br />Mooncakes and other seasonal delicacies were selling like, well, hotcakes.<br/> <br />The full moon festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Vietnamese calendar.<br/> <br />Vietnam celebrates the festival along with China, but this year tensions with Beijing over maritime territorial disputes have meant a change in the marketplace.<br/> <br />Consumers have been turning up their noses at toys, lanterns and other products made in China.<br/> <br />Retailers have had to find alternative sources for the seasonal wares, bringing in goods from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.<br/> <br />One toy shop owner says buyers also are looking for made-in-Vietnam products as a show of nationalism.<br/> <br />Another says parents hesitate to buy a toy if it was made in China, but don't think twice if it was made in Vietnam.
