Husband of PML-N’s Punjab MPA Shahmim Akhtar was mysteriously murdered inside their residence in Samanabad area of Lahore, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. <br />70-year-old Mian Kabir Ahmed was found dead inside his room early Monday, police told. The body has been sent for autopsy to ascertain cause of death. <br />MPA Shamim Akhtar said she was out of her home to attend a wedding ceremony. She accused that a suspect namely Nomi poisoned her husband to death. <br />She told police that Nomi had been threatening them for past few days. <br />On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the murder of incident and directed Inspector General of Punjab police to submit a report and arrest culprits involved in the murder at earliest. <br />The Chief Minister also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
