India has called out the military to bring much needed drinking water and other emergency supplies to victims of flooding in the northern Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir.<br /> <br />The prime ministers of India and Pakistan have offered to help each other in the flood effort in the disputed border region.<br /> <br />Both sides have been ravaged by heavy rains that caused rivers to burst their banks. The flooding has killed more than 200 people.<br /> <br />Indian helicopters and aircraft have been deployed to evacuate stranded survivors.<br /> <br />One man had praise for the orderly effort.<br /> <br />10.
