Norway aims to solve its prison overcrowding problem by outsourcing inmates to the Dutch.<br /><br />Under a government proposal 300 Norwegian prisoners are to be sent to serve their sentences in the Netherlands which has spare jail capacity.<br /><br />Norway apparently has a waiting list for convicted felons before they can serve time!<br /><br />Norway’s political opposition says the whole idea is too much of a short term solution.
