Turkey’s parliament has further tightened internet controls. <br /><br />The move comes on top of February’s legislation that made it easier for the authorities to block access to web pages. <br /><br />New laws allows TIB the telecoms authority to block sites on the grounds of national security and will have access to individuals’ browsing history.<br /><br />The new legislation has prompted public outrage raising concerns about free speech.
