Shahbaz Sharif inspected flood-hit areas and distributed relief goods among people from helicopter <br /> <br />LAHORE: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the local administration will be held responsible for negligence in relief work. CM did aerial surveillance of the flood-hit areas today (Thursday) and distributed relief goods among the affected people from the helicopter. He said that the compensation for destroyed houses, cattle and crops will be paid within weeks, not months. <br />Shahbaz Sharif visited flood-hit areas including Athara Hazari, Garh Maharaja, Shor Kot, Basu Aastana Moza 118, Daal Mor and dozens of other villages. He also supervised the relief activities being carried out in these areas. <br />Reaching Chobara area of Layyah, CM Punjab examined the relief activities in this area. He visited relief camp set up in Angora Goth Farm and also the camp city consisting of 1000 camps. Shahbaz Sharif, on this occasion, inquired from people about the problems they were facing in the camps. He oversaw dressing of a child there. <br />CM Punjab said on this occasion that local administration will be responsible for any kind of negligence in the relief activities. He appealed before the residents of Layyah to raise as many funds as possible for helping the flood victims of Jhang.
