As Scotland’s referendum on independence approaches, separatist politicians in the Spanish region of Catalonia hope it could add momentum to their own campaign.<br /><br />Catalonia’s regional government is set to hold its own referendum on November the 9th.<br /><br />That’s despite the Spanish parliament refusing to recognise the vote back in April.<br /><br />Judges could still scupper the plans for a referendum.<br /><br />Spain’s constitutional court will rule on their legality in the coming weeks.
