ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: American designer Marc Jacobs closed the weeklong fashion feast in New York on Thursday (September 11) on the final day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.<br/> <br />For the occasion the massive Park Avenue Armory was transformed into a bubblegum pink suburban setting, with a massive pink windowless house taking center stage of the space.<br/> <br />To immerse themselves fully in the show, guests had to listen to narration played over Beats By Dre headphones attached to their seats as models strutted by on the pale gray gravel catwalk.<br/> <br />In contrast to the pink scene, Jacobs' collection took its cue from the somber military outfits.<br/> <br />He opted for simple, unadorned silhouettes in olive, khaki, navy, blush and maroon. Army suits and cargo dresses made way for satin mini dresses.
