North-Indian Recipe Roti Churma

Recipe to prepare "Roti Churma": <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />1. leftover chapatis (roti) - 8-10 <br />2. cooking or refined oil - 1 tea spoon <br />3. cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon <br />4. garlic - 2 cloves <br />5. ginger - 1/2 inch <br />6. curry leaves (kadipatta) - 1 stalk <br />7. green chilly - 4 <br />8. onion - 2 medium bulblets <br />9. salt - to taste <br />10. turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon <br />11. coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon <br />12. seasoning (garam masala) - 1/4 tea spoon <br />13. tomatoes - 2 medium size <br />14. coriander leaves - 1 stalk <br /> <br />Procedure: <br />1. take 8 to 10 unused chapatis of previous night <br />2. finely crush all the chapatis <br />3. heat 1 tea spoon cooking or refined oil in a pan <br />4. add to it following ingredients- <br />a. 1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds <br />b. finely chopped garlic (2 cloves) <br />c. finely chopped ginger (1/2 inch) <br />d. curry leaves (1 stalk) <br />e. 4 chopped green chillies <br />f. finely chopped onion (2 medium bulblets) <br />g. 1/4 tea spoon salt <br />5. stir and cook all the ingredients <br />6. add the following spices- <br />a. 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder <br />b. 1/2 tea spooon coriander powder <br />c. 1/4 tea spoon seasoning (garam masala) <br />7. mix them well <br />8. add finely chopped tomatoes (2 medium size) <br />9. toss the dish, and add salt to taste <br />10. stir, and add finely crushed chapatis <br />11. keep on stirring the dish for 2-3 minutes <br />12. add coriander leaves (1 stalk), and mix well <br />13. put off the flame, and serve <br /> <br />Wow guys!!
