Recipe to prepare "Veg. Soupy Noodles", a Chinese dish: <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />1. ginger - 1/2 inch <br />2. garlic - 4 cloves <br />3. soya sauce - 2 teaspoons <br />4. green chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon <br />5. red chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon <br />6. cabbage (grated) - 1 small size <br />7. schezwan sauce - 2 tablespoons <br />8. cornflour water - 3-4 teaspoons <br />9. fried noodles - 1 medium bowl <br />10. cooking or refined oil - 1 tablespoon <br />11. salt - to taste <br />12. hakka noodles - 150 gms <br />13. vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon <br />14. water - 4-5 medium cups <br /> <br />Procedure: <br />1. heat 1 tablespoon refined or cooking oil in a pan, on medium flame <br />2. add chopped garlic (4 cloves) <br />3. add chopped ginger (1/2 inch), and saute <br />4. add grated cabbage (1 small size), and mix it well <br />5. add the following: <br />a. 2 tablespoons schezwan sauce <br />b. 2 teaspoons soya sauce <br />c. 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce <br />d. 1 teaspoon green chilli sauce <br />e. 1/2 teaspoon vinegar <br />f. salt to taste (or 1/2 teaspoon) <br />6. add water (4-5 medium cups); stir and let it cook until it starts boiling <br />7. add hakka noodles (150 gms), and mix them well <br />8. cover the pan, and let the noodles cook for 2-3 minutes on high flame, so that they become soft in texture <br />9. add 3-4 teaspoons cornflour water for thick consistency of soup; stir and cook for 2 minutes <br />10. garnish with fried noodles, and serve <br /> <br />Excellent guys!!
