ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: At least 16 people have died and 17 injured after a bus fell into a gorge in the Tehri district in India's northern state of Uttarakhand on Saturday.<br/> <br />The bus was traveling from Srinagar city in Uttarakhand with 33 passengers on board, when it fell into a 300 foot deep gorge after trying to overtake another vehicle near the Juyalgarh area on the National Highway 58.<br/> <br />Road and rail accidents are common in India. More than 230,000 people were killed on Indian roads in 2010.
