We have all grown up eating khicidi. It's one of the few dishes that can be cooked instantly. So, how about giving a little twist to this delicious traditional preparation?<br /><br />Stay tuned to learn from the Gourmet Queen Asha Khatau herself!<br /><br />Ingredients:<br /><br />2 Tbsp Oil<br />2-3 Cinnamon Sticks<br />2-3 Cloves<br />2-3 Cardamom <br />1 no. Bayleaf <br />1 Medium Sized Onion, Sliced<br />2 Cups Long Grained Rice, Soaked <br />3 Cups Water<br />3/4 Cup Mixed Sprouts, Boiled<br />Coriander Leaves<br /><br />Procedure:<br />1. Heat oil in a pan.<br />2. Add cinnamon and cloves to it.<br />3. Add 2-3 Cardamom <br />4. Add bay leaf to it. <br />5. Add sliced onions and cook until brown.<br />6. Add rice<br />7. Add water <br />8. Stir occasionally<br />9. Saute spice mixture in oil <br />10. Add salt <br />11. Add boiled mixed sprouts<br />12. Give one boil<br />13. Add the mixture to the rice<br />14. Garnish with coriander <br />15.
