At least seven terrorists were killed in a police encounter at Afghan Basti of Sohrab Goth area in Karachi on Wednesday when the police entered to carry a mere search operation. The police reportedly also seized grenades and thousands of bullets, Dunya News reported. <br /> <br />According to the details, the police reached the area to carry the search operation after acting on a tip they received about presence of terrorists in the area. <br /> <br />The police started searching door to door after surrounding the whole settlement. They also recovered thousands of bullets and grenades. <br /> <br />An explosion also took place during the search operation. The backup police contingent arrived on the spot. The police personnel faced difficulties because of the narrow streets in the settlement.
