ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: The U.S. Navy released video on Wednesday (September 17) showing aircraft taking off and landing as they continue a mission to target Islamic State militants in Iraq.<br/> <br />The video, which was shot on Monday (September 15) and Tuesday (September 16), shows F/A-18 Hornets and EA-6B Prowlers on the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush in the Persian Gulf in support of their strike, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.<br/> <br />The USS George H.W. Bush is a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, which is powered by two nuclear reactors and can carry a crew of about 6,000, according to the U.S. Navy.<br/> <br />In addition to fighter jets, helicopters and other aircraft, the ships are equipped with sophisticated anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles.
